What DipBell is. General market commentary. Every card says the same thing to every reader. It is not advice for you personally, because we know nothing about you: not your account, your cost basis, your taxes, or how much you can afford to lose.
What we are not. We are not a broker, not an investment adviser, and not registered with the SEC or any other regulator, in the United States or anywhere else. We do not hold your money, place your orders, or manage your account.
Your decisions are yours. Whether to sell a put, skip it, or do something else is your call alone. If you want advice for your own situation, ask a licensed adviser who knows it.
Options can hurt. Selling a put can lose far more than the cash you collect. If the stock falls, you must buy 100 shares at the strike, whatever the market price is then. Please understand this before you trade.
The record. Every card we publish stays up as published. We never edit, remove, or backdate one. The results we fill in are what actually happened after each date. The record shows what we said; it does not promise what will happen next.
Simulated results. Where we show numbers that did not come from a real published card, such as a backtest or an example, they are hypothetical and labeled as such. Hypothetical results have no real money behind them and never match what a real account would have earned.
No warranty. DipBell is provided as is. We try to be accurate, but data feeds break, markets move, and we make mistakes. We do not promise the site will be available, complete, or error-free, and we are not liable for any loss you incur from using it.
We may stop. We can change, pause, or shut down DipBell at any time, with or without notice.
Governing law. California, United States. Any dispute over these terms is settled under California law.
